Everyone is talking about Haiti right now. And for good reason. It’s sad that these kinds of things happen so often around the world. From one earthquake, to a flood, to a typhoon, to another earthquake. But it’s time’s like this when those of us who are fortunate enough to not be directly affected by these disasters should lend a hand. In reality, what Haiti needs the most right now is man power and people to be helping on the ground, but since that’s not an option for us, the least we can do is donate to help monetarily.
As you know, ever since we relaunched the Wong Fu store in August we’ve been giving portions of the revenue earned and donating to different charities each month. So far over $1000 has been sent to the Philippines, Breast Cancer research, and Taiwan earthquake relief. This month we will be donating to UNICEF’s efforts in Haiti.
